Are these official Pelle Pelle jackets?
No. These are handmade tribute jackets made to order by Leather Taboo, inspired by the classic Detroit varsity look. They are independent designs and are not affiliated with, licensed by or sold as Pelle Pelle products.
What are they made from?
Genuine cowhide leather with hand-set studs, leather appliqué lettering, a full lining and ribbed knit collar band, cuffs and hem. Each product page lists the hide, hardware and colourway.
What sizes are available?
XS through 8XL as standard, or made to your own measurements at no extra charge.
Can I order it in my own measurements?
Yes. Send your measurements through the custom order page; made-to-measure is available at no extra charge and you can also request a different color or leather type.
How long does it take to make and deliver?
Every piece is made after the order is placed. Production normally takes 14–15 working days, then it ships with a tracking number to the USA and worldwide.
What is the return policy?
Standard-size items can be returned within 15 days of delivery in unworn condition. Made-to-measure pieces are exchanged if they arrive damaged or incorrect. Full details are in our return policy.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a dry cloth after wear, condition the hide twice a year while avoiding the studded panels, store it on a wide padded hanger and never fold it with the studs against the leather.
